What Day Is It?

Every day seems like Monday. Listen, Kids, Mommy is taking it up the ass at work. She will continue to do so until she runs away to Hawaii, so don't get nervous if you don't hear from her in a while, m'kay? When she gets back she expects to be in a much better mood and a little less angry about the whole anal-sex-no-lube thing.

The Horse is Dead, Sir.

I've just read that there is yet another inquest being launched over the death of Princess Diana. There are now more inquests into her death than there were for the assassination of President Kennedy.

ENOUGH! She's dead. The people who were with her? Dead. Well, except for that one guy, but I bet he wishes he had died with the rest of them. The paparazzi that caused the crash (oh yes you did, admit it) have been dealt with. Not in the manner I would like, but they have been dealt with. How many different ways can a group of people look at the same accident and come up with the same conclusion before every person in the country gets it through their thick-ass skulls?

It was a tragedy.

It was a shock.

It is over.

Hmmm, I wonder what this inquest will come up with? There was drinking involved? Done. There was speed involved? Know that. There was paparazzi chasing the car? Heard it. Those fuckers at the crash scene took pictures instead of helping anyone. Already debated. It is over, let the poor woman rest in peace.

Showers Done, Where's the Kid?

I threw my sister a baby shower Sat. It turned out really well. The day was simply gorgeous! Warm, not too windy. The patio we used was beautiful and offered a lot of shade. Most of the people who were invited showed up. Sis came away with a lot of stuff. The bar/restaurant we held the baby shower is really nice, if you're ever in Soulard check out the Great Grizzly Bear at Menard and Geyer.

Now we're ready for the kid to arrive. December seems a long way away, to me but even more so for my sister.

It was also nice to have my mom, dad, and Mamaw in town. I like having my family around but it seemed we were so busy this weekend I didn't get a chance to talk to any of them for very long. My Mamaw got to see our house and meet our dog, that was fun. All too soon the weekend was over and here I am back at work.

Pictures soon.
